• Monitor the physical safety and repair needs of all Lifeworks residences and other programs as assigned by the Facilities Coordinator.
• Will perform maintenance, repair and renovation functions including carpentry, painting, home emergency repairs, electrical and plumbing in coordination with and as assigned by the Facilities Coordinator.
• Perform weekly and regular lawn maintenance and landscaping, including lawn mowing, trimming, planting of shrubs, weeding, spring cleanup and fall cleanup. Will plow snow, use snow blower and shovel/salt/sand walkways and driveways when necessary.
• Will ensure regular communication with all Lifeworks staff including, but not limited to, maintenance coordinator and all residential directors and program managers necessary to ensure prompt and effective resolution of landscaping, repair and maintenance issues.
• Will provide emergency on call coverage during the absences of the Facilities Coordinator.
• Other duties and/or assignments to work/program locations based on the needs of the company.
• All other duties as assigned.

Lifeworks is hiring a full time Maintenance Staff. We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives. Provide the repair, renovation and maintenance of all Lifeworks programs and properties. Provides the landscaping and lawn maintenance for all Lifeworks programs as assigned. Complies with all principles of Human Rights, D.P.P.C., Department of Developmental Services, the Division of Medical Assistance and all other applicable funding regulations as adhered to by Lifeworks.

• Painting background is strongly needed & preferred in this role
• High School Diploma/GED, minimum of one-year experience in landscaping and/or carpentry, home maintenance.
• Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
• Valid Driver's License in the state residing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
