The position of "Night Custodian" requires multiple performance tasks in a fast paced environment. Cleaning and disinfecting the school is the primary component of the job description. Along with general housekeeping, the custodian is responsible for maintaining the floors, furniture and equipment. This position also requires light to moderate lifting and snow removal during the winter months. Further responsibilities include tasks associated with building security.

Finally, the position requires the custodian to be available at all times to attend to building emergencies. A more detailed job description is available upon request.

This position is for the second shift: M-F; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 12 months a year

• Demonstrates responsibility and proficiency in the areas of: cleaning, grounds maintenance, snow removal, general maintenance and building security.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Flexibility to accommodate the needs of the district as the administration may find appropriate and necessary.

Pay starting at $18.50 per hour based on experience plus increase after 90 day probationary period.
