Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting across all company locations, as well as our sister company, Cobra Southeast Construction Services. This role will manage key daily and monthly accounting functions including reconciliations, billing entries, and financial reporting while also supporting KPI development and operational analysis to help branch leadership enhance performance and decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Transaction Support- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple company accounts and locations
- Complete credit card reconciliations, ensuring accurate coding and proper documentation
- Post billing and accounting entries accurately and timely within the company's financial system
- Support month‑end close activities, including account reviews, report preparation, and data cleanup
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for all transactions
- Collaborate closely with the Controller to ensure consistency and accuracy across all branches and entities
- Support project accounting activities as needed
- Assist in developing and implementing standardized financial reporting tools across all Cobra locations and Cobra Southeast
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial analyst roles; experience in construction or multi‑location environments is a plus
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including reconciliations and general ledger activity
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and structured data management
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both accounting and operations teams
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems, including posting journal entries and working with financial reports
- Experience with construction accounting, job costing, or service‑based businesses is preferred
- Stable and growing organization with over 26 years in operation, multiple branch locations, and expanding service lines
