Position:
Sr. Analyst – Metals Sourcing, Wieland Rolled Products North America, LLC, 567 Northgate Parkway, Wheeling, IL 60090.
Owns the effective execution of Materials Requirements Planning and supply‑chain planning processes within Rolled Products North America plants to provide best‑in‑class service in Materials Requirements Planning, pre‑material planning & sourcing, and vendor management. This role partners with Sales, Planning & Operations to determine appropriate levels of pre‑material inventory to support customer demand across RA, leveraging MRP best practices and systems. It manages relationships with and the effective management of sourcing‑defined materials from internal and external partners in a global setting, determining the correct SKU‑level items to source across a global network.
Responsibilities include system‑wide inventory and sourcing to support customer demand, inventory, and service goals; key process ownership and super‑user status within SAP for assigned tasks; and a key role in Project WISE (SAP implementation) at several sites in materials management & production planning during the BU‑wide project. The role also owns partner relationships (internal and external) to support sourcing needs and manages vendor relationships in service, quality, delivery, and cost areas for pre‑material purchases.
It serves as the main contact with these vendors and represents BU RA professionally and responsibly. The analyst supports Organizational Strategies via team collaborations to identify and implement system‑level improvements that achieve BU RA performance targets in service levels, inventory investments, and operational efficiencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of combined experience in manufacturing processes and product flow in an industrial format.
- 3 years of combined experience in SAP SD (sales & distribution) for purchase order creation, goods receipts, and goods movements.
- 2 years of combined experience in determining stock levels, safety stock, and working with bill of materials.
- 1 year of experience in manufacturing planning or supervision.
- 1 year of experience in inventory planning in a manufacturing environment.
- 1 year of experience effectively engaging across different national and cultural barriers.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas.
- Experience in SAP ERP in MM (materials management).
- Experience in SAP master data for MM (materials management).
- Experience in execution & monitoring of SAP MRP.
- Experience in SAP PP (production planning) for production order creation & management.
$91,500+.
