Help Us Build What Comes Next

Bathing Brands is growing a portfolio of leading sauna, steam, and wellness brands, including Sauna Life, FINSAUNA, Prosaunas, Finnmark Designs, World Sauna Group, and Bathing Brands.

We are looking for a filming-first Video Producer & Videographer who can turn complex product builds, demonstrations, and lifestyle concepts into clear, visually compelling footage.

This role is primarily focused on filming and production. While editing knowledge is required, the successful candidate will spend most of their time planning shoots, capturing footage, directing talent, and producing content in the field rather than sitting behind a computer editing video.

This is not a desk-bound editing role. You will work behind the camera, direct talent, collaborate with builders and product experts, and solve production challenges in real time. You will lead filming while partnering with an experienced internal editor who will own most post-production and final delivery.

Strong editing knowledge is essential, but your primary responsibility will be filming, directing talent, and delivering complete, organized, edit-ready footage.

You'll spend time in active construction environments, showrooms, production spaces, and lifestyle settings, capturing content that helps customers understand and experience our products.

A portfolio or demo reel is required and must be submitted with your application.

What You’ll Do

Lead Video Production

  • Film monthly Sauna Life and FINSAUNA sauna builds from initial construction through the finished product
  • Capture critical installation steps, product details, transitions, supporting B-roll, and final reveal footage
  • Film product demonstrations, walk-arounds, interviews, lifestyle scenes, and other brand content
  • Make confident creative and technical decisions when schedules, build sequences, and filming conditions change
  • Maintain visual continuity across stops, starts, corrections, and occasional rebuilds
  • Deliver technically strong, visually consistent footage that supports an efficient editing process
  • Direct Talent and Bring Concepts to Life

  • Direct professional talent, employees, customers, influencers, and other on-camera participants
  • Help nonprofessional talent feel comfortable, natural, and credible on camera
  • Translate storyboards, shot lists, and creative concepts into engaging visual content
  • Provide direction on movement, delivery, product interaction, and positioning
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop relatable lifestyle scenes in controlled and real-world environments
  • Plan and Manage Shoots

  • Partner with marketing, creative, project management, builders, and product experts to prepare for production
  • Develop practical shot lists and filming plans based on the product and intended deliverables
  • Anticipate critical construction and installation milestones to ensure important footage is never missed.
  • Organize, label, back up, and transfer footage for the internal editor
  • Maintain video, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Help establish repeatable filming standards and more efficient production workflows
  • Contribute to future recommendations for studio, equipment, and production needs
  • Support an Integrated Production Team

  • Work closely with the internal editor to ensure strong coverage, continuity, and supporting footage
  • Capture each project with pacing, transitions, and final assembly in mind
  • Complete selects, rough assemblies, simple edits, or quick social cutdowns when needed
  • Coordinate with the company photographer to maximize shared production days and produce complementary photo and video assets
  • What You Bring

  • 4–6 years of professional video production experience
  • A strong portfolio featuring commercial, product, lifestyle, process-driven, or branded content
  • Advanced camera operation, composition, lighting, and audio-capture skills
  • Experience directing talent, including people who are not professional performers
  • The ability to document complex, step-by-step processes clearly
  • Strong working knowledge of editing and post-production workflows
  • Experience organizing and handing off footage to another editor
  • The confidence to work independently and solve production challenges onsite
  • Strong…
