Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Specialist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication and order management for our valued customers.
Work EnvironmentThis position is office‑based with an open workstation setup, providing a collaborative and communicative environment. Standard working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a company‑wide lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required, and the work schedule currently operates on a single shift. Training will include HR onboarding, a product overview, shadowing, and gradual hands‑on order entry.
Responsibilities- Review and interpret bills of materials and product catalogs to support customer requests.
- Enter and manage customer orders and quotes in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding order status, lead times, and delivery.
- Work from a shared inbox, self‑assigning tasks to avoid duplication.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements.
- Potential to specialize in technical quoting or product lines based on experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of recent order entry/customer service experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented, open office environment.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, sometimes chaotic environment.
- Analytical mindset and willingness to learn a diverse product line.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the manufacturing or machinery industry is preferred.
- Innovative thinker open to process improvement.
Permanent position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 – $27.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
