We are seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales / Order Entry Representative to support product‑focused customer accounts and ensure seamless order processing. This is a fast‑paced, high‑volume role that blends customer interaction, technical product support, and operational coordination.

• Manage assigned customer accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and margin improvement
• Process high‑volume order entry (50-75+ orders/day) with multiple line items
• Handle customer requests including:
  • Quotes
  • Order processing
  • Delivery updates
  • Follow‑ups
• Utilize internal ERP systems (
  QAD, Felix
  ) for:
  • Order entry
  • Quote generation
  • Inventory tracking
• Communicate customer requirements to Operations and Engineering teams
• Review and validate contracts, quotes, and order details for accuracy prior to processing
• Resolve customer issues including:
  • Credits/debits
  • Returns (RGA authorization)
• Support outside sales teams and collaborate across departments
• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure accuracy and continuity
• Manage shipping and routing logistics
  , including:
  • Carrier selection
  • Freight terms (collect, prepaid, third‑party)
• Monitor pricing agreements and inventory availability

Weekly rotation between:

• Email management
• Inbound phone support

While on phones (~70% of day):

• Answer routed calls via headset
• Enter and customize orders between calls

Flexible call availability settings allow for focused work time as needed.

• 2+ years of experience in:
  • Manufacturing customer service
  • Manufacturing sales support
• Strong order entry experience
• Ability to learn and retain technical product knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, calculations)

Fully onsite role in Wheeling, IL.

Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (strict schedule).

Structured attendance policy:
Employees must be logged in and ready at 8:00 AM sharp. Tardiness is strictly monitored under a point‑based system.

Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.

Pay range: $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
