Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned customer accounts to drive customer satisfaction, sales growth, and margin
- Handle quotes, order entry, order followups, and delivery coordination
- Resolve customer issues including credits, debits, and return authorizations
- Communicate customer requirements with Operations and Engineering
- Monitor pricing and inventory agreements
- Support outside sales representatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and high attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members and expedite issues as needed
- 50‑75 complex orders with multiple line items
- Support international and domestic clients
- Rotating phone coverage: phone weeks = ~70% of day on calls (~45 inbound calls/day)
- Remaining time focused on order processing and account support
- Not a full‑time phone role
- 2+ years manufacturing sales support or manufacturing customer service
- Experience managing product knowledge
- Strong order entry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment
- Experience with QAD or similar ERP systems

Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $28.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply for some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
