Position Overview
We are seeking an Order Entry Representative to join our team in Wheeling, IL. This role is ideal for someone with a background in manufacturing customer service or sales support who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You'll play a key role in supporting customers, managing orders, and working cross-functionally with operations and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage assigned customer accounts with a focus on increasing satisfaction, sales, and gross margin
+ Process quotes, orders, and follow-ups, while providing delivery updates
+ Handle customer issues including credits, debits, and returns (RMA)
+ Communicate customer needs to Operations and Engineering teams
+ Monitor and manage pricing and inventory agreements
+ Maintain accurate documentation to ensure continuity of service
+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently
+ Handle a high volume of orders (50-75 complex orders with multiple line items)
+ Support both domestic and international clients within the Power Transmission team
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
+ 2+ years of experience in order entry, sales support, or customer service
+
Experience with order entry and ERP systems
+ Strong product knowledge background
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills
+
Experience with pricing and inventory management
+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
+ Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
