Customer Service Rep, Account Manager
The Customer Service Representative / Order Entry Specialist is a vital member of the team, serving as the primary point of contact for customers while ensuring every order is processed accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities- Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
- Provide product information, pricing, order status, and shipping details
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
- Build strong working relationships with key accounts and distributors
- Accurately enter and process customer orders into Oracle
- Review orders for pricing, availability, lead times, and accuracy
- Manage order changes, cancellations, and updates
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate delays or issues
Work closely with sales, production, scheduling, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery - Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping departments on order fulfillment
- Partner with accounting on billing, invoicing, and credit issues
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, order entry, or inside sales support (manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer focus.
- Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a customer‑first approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Oracle is preferred but not required
