Position Details:
- School Psychologist opening with Wheeling School District
- Starting August 2026
- 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday
Hello, School Psychologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a K-12 school setting in Wheeling, IL. In this role, you'll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!

- Conduct psycho educational evaluations and assessments
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
- Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs
- Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
- Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Master's degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred, not required
- NASP membership a plus
