Lead Mechanical Engineer Lead Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Work with in-house machinists and outside vendors to source components for production
• Project Management from conception to completion
• Design and build connector and cable harness manufacturing processes
• Work side‑by‑side with assembly technicians and members of quality in the assembly of connector and harness assemblies
• Effectively communicate with customers and vendors throughout the duration of the manufacturing process

• Desire to work on both conceptual engineering and hands‑on product development
• Solid Works experience: models, assembly, and drawings required. Desired: configurations
• Capability to learn about new subjects
• Thrives in an environment of constant change and evolution
• Working knowledge of harness and connector assembly
• Effective problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical techniques for issue resolution
• Ability to develop and communicate assembly instructions verbally and in written form
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
