eCommerce Platform Operations Specialist
About the Role
Bathing Brands is looking for an eCommerce Platform Operations Specialist to help support the daily operation and continued improvement of our growing digital commerce ecosystem.
This is a unique role for someone who enjoys figuring out how things work, investigating problems, organizing complex information, and helping move technology projects from an idea or reported issue through development, testing, and release.
Our eCommerce environment includes multiple websites serving different customers and business channels, a shared Drupal commerce platform, and integrations with our ERP and other business systems. This position will work at the intersection of our websites, Product Catalog team, business users, and Web Development team.
You do not need to be a software developer. You do need to be technically curious, exceptionally organized, comfortable learning complex business processes, and willing to dig into a problem until you understand what is actually happening.
Please note this position is fully remote; however, we are only hiring residents from Illinois or Wisconsin.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will help manage the day-to-day flow of website issues, enhancements, and development work across our eCommerce platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
Validate completed development work against business requirements and real-world user workflows.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is naturally investigative and doesn't stop at simply recording what someone says is wrong.
The right person for this role will be comfortable asking questions, testing different scenarios, comparing expected behavior to actual behavior, and organizing what they learn so that both business and technical teams can act on it.
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have experience supporting an eCommerce website, CMS, digital platform, software product, or other technology-driven business environment.
- Have experience with Drupal or another content management system. Drupal experience is strongly preferred.
- Have experience with Asana, Jira, or another work management or development tracking platform.
- Understand the fundamentals of software testing, QA, UAT, or structured troubleshooting.
- Can translate a business problem into clear written requirements and testable outcomes.
- Are highly organized and capable of managing multiple issues, requests, and development tasks at different stages.
- Communicate comfortably with technical and non-technical teams.
- Enjoy learning complex systems and understanding how information and processes move between them.
- Have strong attention to detail without losing sight of the larger business objective.
- Are comfortable taking ownership of an issue and helping move it toward resolution.
Experience That Would Be Helpful
Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable, but we do not expect one candidate to have experience with everything:
- Drupal administration
- eCommerce operations
- Product information or Product Catalog management
- ERP systems, particularly Acumatica
- Manual software testing or UAT
- Website QA and regression testing
- Taxonomy and website navigation management
- User roles and permission administration
- Integrated eCommerce and ERP environments
- B2B or…
