Job SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst
- Supply Chain is responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and decision support for the Company's Supply Chain and Procurement functions. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Finance leadership to monitor spending, evaluate sourcing initiatives, optimize inventory and working capital, and identify opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
The position also owns indirect spend operations, ensuring effective systems maintenance, supplier agreement governance, compliance oversight, and continuous improvement of supporting processes. The analyst develops meaningful financial insights, supports forecasting and month-end close activities, and delivers reporting that enables informed business decisions across the end-to-end supply chain.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Finance & Procurement Support
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations leadership to provide financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and decision support.
- Analyze procurement spend, purchase price variances (PPV), freight and logistics costs, inventory trends, and other supply chain performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews for Supply Chain and Procurement functions.
- Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, inventory optimization strategies, and operational improvement projects.
- Deliver concise monthly variance analyses with clear drivers, business implications, and recommended actions.
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics, including supplier spend, transportation costs, inventory levels, working capital, and cost savings initiatives.
Commercialization Support
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide financial support throughout the product lifecycle, including new business pricing, commercialization, customer onboarding, product launches, transitions, and end-of-life activities.
ERP, Reporting & Data Architecture
- Serve as a primary ERP and reporting expert within Supply Chain Finance.
- Build and maintain advanced Excel-based models and reporting tools supporting cost management, plant performance, and inventory analysis.
- Continuously improve reporting through automation, standardized data flows, and enhanced usability for operations and finance.
Indirect Spend & Controls
- Own indirect spend operations and associated financial controls, including marketplace systems and supplier governance.
- Monitor indirect spend performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and partner with Procurement and business leaders to improve spending effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, supplier agreements, and financial controls while supporting process standardization and continuous improvement.
Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as a trusted finance business partner to Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations leadership by providing timely financial insights and recommendations.
- Support cross-functional initiatives focused on cost optimization, inventory management, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
