Senior Logistics and Procurement Specialist

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics and Procurement Specialist to optimize material flow and supplier performance for our manufacturing operations. You will manage end-to-end purchasing of components, negotiate contracts, and coordinate global and domestic shipments to support on-time production. Responsibilities include demand forecasting, inventory optimization, vendor evaluation, cost-reduction initiatives, and ensuring compliance with trade and quality standards. You will collaborate with operations, sales, and engineering teams in a culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and employee growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of materials, components, and services to support manufacturing operations.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and reliability.
• Plan and coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with trade regulations.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels through demand forecasting and collaboration with production planning.
• Evaluate and develop suppliers, tracking KPIs for quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Identify and implement logistics and procurement process improvements to reduce lead times and costs.
• Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and sales to align supply plans with customer demand.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems and create reports on spend, inventory, and logistics performance.
