Responsibilities
- Work with machining staff to improve production quality and efficiency
- Oversee CNC setup, tooling, fixturing, gaging, programming, and machine operation
- Read and interpret part drawings and GD&T requirements
- Train CNC operators on proper processes and techniques
- Supervise CNC production employees during daily operations
- Maintain production records, quality paperwork, and tool inventory
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- A two‑year engineering‑related degree is preferred
- At least three years of experience working with CNC machines and mechanical tools
- Strong hands‑on CNC programming, and setup experience is critical, particularly with Fanuc controls, G-code, and M-code programming,
- as well as experience with horizontal and vertical machining centers and lathes
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Solid Works and Mastercam is preferred
- Forklift operation experience is helpful
