CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities
- Operate multiple CNC machines in a team-based environment.
- Perform general and daily maintenance on machines to ensure production continuity.
- Ensure the quality of parts through regular inspections during production.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines as outlined by the company.
- Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing.
- Inspect parts using visual and manual equipment such as calipers and micrometers, as well as programmed CMM equipment (training provided).
- Make offsets and change tooling according to the provided layout (training provided).
- Communicate job status and part quality with team members and management.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in operating CNC machines or non-CNC machine operating experience with micrometers, calipers, and blueprints.
- Ability to perform documentation of machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CNC setup experience with mills and lathes is a plus.
- Mechanically inclined with experience in deburring and grinding.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
