Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 5 Axis CNC machines to produce parts as specified by project engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet all specifications and quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings and tool configurations to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers and other team members to enhance production methods and outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety policies.
• Keep accurate records of machine operations, maintenance schedules, and quality control metrics.

Required Skills

• Expertise in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines, specifically 5 Axis machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and tooling principles specifically applied in precision machining.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Experience with CAM software and ability to adjust programming as necessary.
