Inventory Specialist

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc, a leader in cable carriers and machine protection systems, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support its manufacturing operations. In this role, you will maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to ensure material availability for production. You will coordinate closely with purchasing, production, and shipping to optimize stock levels, reduce shortages, and improve material flow.

Leveraging ERP/MRP tools and Excel, you'll analyze usage trends, support continuous improvement projects, and contribute to a safe, organized, and team-focused warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP systems
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Coordinate with purchasing and production to ensure material availability
• Monitor stock levels and recommend reorder points or adjustments
• Prepare inventory reports and analyze usage trends
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and inventory processes
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials
• Collaborate with shipping/receiving to verify inbound and outbound transactions
• Assist with physical inventory counts and audits
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work area
