Laser Operator

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: LASER OPERATOR IN WHEELING, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Laser Operator to join our team in Wheeling, IL. This individual will operate complex machinery, oversee machine setups, monitor production quality, and perform minor repairs and maintenance to keep production running efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and the ability to train and mentor other operators.

• $18/hour

• Operate complex machinery according to SOPs and production standards
• Set up and adjust machines for various production tasks
• Oversee setups on basic machinery and production lines
• Monitor production processes and perform quality checks
• Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance
• Document production metrics and report discrepancies
• Train and mentor entry-level machine operators
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Proficient in operating production machinery with strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and read technical documents and schematics
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Basic computer skills, including experience with ERP systems
• Fluent in English and the primary language used at the work location
• Machine Operation or related certification preferred
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended 8–12 hour shifts
• Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles throughout the work shift
• Comfortable working in environments where hearing protection may be required
