Machine Setup Technician - 1st Shift

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:20 PM

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking for an opportunity to grow your skills in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Machine Setup Technician to support production operations by setting up equipment, maintaining tooling, troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping production running efficiently while working with advanced manufacturing equipment and a collaborative team.

What You'll Do
  • Set up and maintain production machines and tooling for catheter and final inspection operations.

  • Review work orders, drawings, SOPs, manufacturing procedures, and setup instructions to ensure accurate machine setup.

  • Install and remove tooling with a high level of precision and attention to detail.

  • Verify machine setups and product samples meet customer specifications.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic machine repairs.

  • Monitor product quality and identify potential equipment or production concerns.

  • Support production operators to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce waste.

  • Maintain tooling, supplies, and work areas in accordance with cleanroom standards.

  • Assist with material movement between departments and warehouse locations.

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions

Comfortable working with fractions, percentages, ratios, and measurements

Experience using precision measuring tools such as:

  • Micrometers

  • Calipers

  • Microscopes

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing, machine setup, maintenance, or related technical role

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
