We currently have an opportunity for a Packaging Packer at our Manufacturing Plant in Wheeling

As a Packaging Packer, you will provide safe, efficient, and accurate packaging of finished products to support manufacturing operations and customer fulfillment. Ensure products meet established quality and quantity standards while maintaining production flow and workplace safety. Partners with team members and production leadership to achieve operational goals, support continuous improvement, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Exercises judgment in identifying product quality concerns, following work instructions, and contributing to consistent manufacturing performance.

- Inspect finished products to verify conformance with established quality standards before packaging.
- Package finished products into designated shipping containers according to production requirements and customer specifications.
- Count, measure, or verify product quantities to ensure accurate packaging and shipment.
- Assemble and prepare cartons and other packaging materials to support efficient production.
- Supply packaging lines with required materials to maintain continuous manufacturing operations.
- Perform combination packaging activities when required to meet customer specifications.
- Identify, segregate, and remove nonconforming products from the production process.
- Verify finished product counts and packaging accuracy to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Inspect pallets and packaging materials prior to use and remove damaged materials from service.
- Move packaged products and materials within the production area using approved processes.
- Replenish packaging supplies and production materials to minimize operational interruptions.
- Maintain production documentation and follow established work instructions.
- Comply with all safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace policies while performing assigned work.
- Maintain housekeeping standards that support a safe, efficient, and organized manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support production objectives and operational improvements.

Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2–4 years of experience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment, or demonstrated ability to perform production-related work.
Preferred
- Previous experience in packaging, assembly, or manufacturing operations.
- Ability to accurately inspect products for quality defects.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive production activities while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
