Position: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit - Per Diem Level I - Days

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Pay Level: Per Diem Level I – Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks. 24 of those hours must be on weekend time if needed.

    7:00 am – 7:30 pm

What you will do
  • Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
  • Coordinate patient plan of care to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all patients, in person, on the phone and in writing.
  • Individualize patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet specific learning needs.
  • Participate in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by engaging in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
What you will need
  • Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
