Infusion Nursing Lead (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Infusion Nursing Lead (RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversight for a growing home infusion nursing program. This role serves as the primary clinical resource for infusion nursing staff while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in the home setting.
The Infusion Nursing Lead will provide leadership, review clinical documentation, audit nursing visits, coordinate patient care with pharmacy teams and healthcare providers, mentor nursing staff, and support quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a compassionate nurse leader with strong infusion therapy expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Home Health & Specialty Infusion
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support for the infusion nursing team.
- Review nursing documentation, audit patient visits, and ensure accurate, timely clinical records.
- Deliver skilled home infusion nursing care, including patient assessments, venous access management, infusion administration, patient monitoring, and emergency response when needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapies, medications, equipment, and home care management.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans based on physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Review laboratory results and collaborate with clinical teams to support appropriate patient care.
- Maintain compliance with applicable clinical practice standards, HIPAA regulations, OSHA guidelines, and state and federal regulations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support patient care needs.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent infusion therapy nursing experience, including:
- Patient assessments
- Venous access management
- Management of infusion-related reactions
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.
- Home health or home infusion nursing experience.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare technology.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or Nursing Lead.
- CRNI and/or IgCN certification.
- Bilingual skills.
