ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You may be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime app is where you can pick up the shifts you desire to work.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT:
Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocacy for in-store and digital services and solutions with knowledge of capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Ability to provide quick and easy shopping experiences at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring quality.

• As a Guest Advocate, model a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Assist guests with needs, solve guest concerns, and be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to improve the guest experience.
• Engage guests in a friendly manner, assisting with returns and following register prompts while adhering to Target policies.
• Support guest services including Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry; maintain compliance with safety and store policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Assist with cash office processes as needed and manage cash systems appropriately.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

• Effective communication and attentive to guests’ needs.

• Welcoming attitude toward guests and colleagues; detail-oriented and able to educate guests about products and services.
• Proficiency with handheld scanners and related technology; ability to operate multiple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Cash handling and basic cash office support as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently; ability to stand and move for scheduled shifts.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts to meet store needs; must respond to contact attempts and work at least one shift within 5 months or employment may be terminated administratively.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and environments typical of store operations.
