Licensed Gas / Generator Installation Technician

Generator Supercenter Chicagoland is looking for a licensed, hands-on tradesperson to join our growing installation team. Your primary responsibility will be natural gas and propane work for standby generator installations
, including gas piping, regulators, pressure testing, fuel connections, and pulling required permits.

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be part of building a strong team—not someone limited to one narrow task.

• Install and size natural gas and propane piping for residential and light commercial generators
• Pull gas/plumbing permits and coordinate inspections
• Install PE, black steel, risers, valves, regulators and generator fuel connections
• Pressure test, troubleshoot and commission fuel systems
• Assist with trenching, generator placement, pads, equipment setup and general installation work
• Support electrical/install crews where appropriate
• Help solve field problems and keep projects moving

• Must hold the license/credentials required to pull plumbing or gas permits in our service area
• Strong natural gas and propane experience
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical installation work
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable, professional and customer-focused
• Willing to learn Generac equipment and become part of an all-around installation team
