Senior Move Manager

We have FUN working together while serving seniors! Caring Transitions (Northern IL) is looking for a Senior Move Manager to join our team. The Senior Move Manager is responsible for developing and guiding senior (60+) clients through a move process, collaborating effectively with service providers and team members to coordinate logistics, and executing moves with excellence in service & communication. He/she will be self-motivated and possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients and team members.

The overall goal of this position is to lead exemplary client service through a move.

• Develop a comprehensive move plan for client.
• Create customized floor plans for the new space to help clients visualize where their belongings will fit.
• Coordinate professional packing, shipping, and storage of belongings.
• Assist clients in sorting through and organizing decades of belongings.
• Provide emotional support throughout the move process.
• Oversee unpacking, and the setting up of the new home.

• Minimum 2 years' experience client services
• Physically can lift 25lb or less items, work on feet for 4-6 hours a day
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Patience in communicating with seniors
• Computer skills- email, design software (can learn on job)
• Must have reliable transportation as locations vary weekly.

• We are open to a variety of backgrounds- move management, retail, container store service provider, etc.

This role is part-time and has the potential to move to full-time.

Salary: $19-23/hr
