Class B Truck Driver

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: TRUCK DRIVER IN WHEELING, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Truck Driver to join our team in Wheeling, IL. This individual will operate assigned trucks, semi-tractors, and forklifts to transport materials while ensuring loads are properly secured and delivered safely and on time. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills.

• $22.00 – $26.00/hr based on experience
• Excellent benefits package:
  Medical, Dental, and Vision
• 6:00am to 2:30pm with potential over time
• Located in Wheeling, IL

• Operate trucks, semi-tractors, and forklifts to transport and exchange materials
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain truck and trailer cleanliness and upkeep
• Maintain required driver and truck logs in compliance with State and Federal regulations
• Inspect tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water, and other equipment; report issues as needed
• Communicate with traffic coordinators regarding pickup and delivery instructions
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Verify packing slips and bills of lading against materials being picked up or delivered
• Ensure all materials are properly identified and all freight is safely secured before transport
• Document damage, discrepancies, or improperly packaged loads and refuse unsafe shipments
• Transport materials to designated destinations safely and on time
• Obtain and distribute required pickup and delivery documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Must have or be able to obtain the required CDL/driver’s license
• Forklift certification required or willingness to become certified
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to safely inspect, secure, load, unload, and transport materials
• Ability to follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations
