Phenom Co‑Pilot; Second‑in‑Command

The Mission

Solairus Aviation is seeking a safety-focused Phenom 300 Second-in-Command (Co‑Pilot) to support a managed private-aviation operation based at Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK). You’ll partner with a seasoned PIC to deliver smooth, standards-driven operations for discerning clients across domestic and international routes.

• Operate the Embraer Phenom 300 safely and prudently in all phases of flight.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, and facilities along the route, destination, and alternates.
• Ensure full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Safeguard the safety and comfort of passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and post-flight requirements.

• Minimum time: 1,000 hours total time
• 500 hours PIC
• 500 hours multi‑engine land
• 100 hours multi‑engine land PIC
• 100 hours turbojet
• 75 hours instrument
• Type rating:
  Phenom 300 or comparable aircraft
• Medical:
  Current First Class medical certificate
• Available for on-call operations; completes annual ICAO international procedures training
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KPWK, or willingness to relocate
