The Lead Custodian oversees daily custodial operations while performing hands-on cleaning duties. This role coordinates work assignments, conducts quality control inspections, monitors supplies, and serves as a point of support for custodial staff, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

• Assign daily work schedules and tasks for custodial staff
• Conduct quality control inspections and assist staff with corrections
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and prepare monthly supply requests
• Perform general cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and public areas
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness standards
• Respond to client service requests and report issues to management
• Identify safety or maintenance concerns
• Secure work areas and follow all safety procedures
• Assist with light snow removal and other assigned duties

• Ability to lead and work within a custodial team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of standard custodial equipment and supplies
• Commercial or federal facility cleaning experience (preferred)
• Ability to pass a drug screen and Federal Government background check

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to use ladders or step stools as required
