Job Details

• Immediate employment.
• Pay starts at $20.00; higher rate may be available with relevant experience. $1/hr increase after 90 days and positive review.
• Monday–Friday starting at 7:00 am; day length varies based on weather & job.
• Typical workweek is 40+ hours with overtime pay available.
• Potential for weekend/holiday work when poor weather shows its face.
• No experience necessary; willingness to learn required.

• Spring system startup, inspection, and repair.
• System inspection and repairs during the season.
• Winterization of systems in fall.
• Perform landscape maintenance duties with other crews in spring and fall.
• Maintain the company’s professional image while performing job duties.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• The ability to think mechanically and use fine motor skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to actively work on feet for the entire day.
• Ability to work independently, use strong time‑management skills, and communicate effectively.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to complete driver qualification (Pass a DOT physical with a clean drug test).

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain irrigation systems within townhomes by performing spring system startup, inspecting systems throughout the year, and winterizing systems in the fall. While Horticulture Services welcomes relevant experience, extensive knowledge and background are not required for this position. Therefore, there will be appropriate training and mentoring upon hire.
