Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Preferably looking for at least 5 years of industrial equipment repair experience (forklifts, aerial equipment, telehandlers, sweeper/scrubbers, etc.). Automotive, heavy equipment, and some aircraft experience will be considered.
Must be able to diagnose and repair:
- electrical issues (both AC and DC)
- hydrostatically driven systems
- planetary gear systems
- diesel, gas, and LPG fuel systems
- engine, transmission, and drive axles
The ideal candidate will be able to supply most of the tools necessary for the job, but LPS does provide specialty equipment.
Field service is to be dispatched from home in a company-owned service vehicle. Must live or be willing to relocate to within 30 miles of Wichita, KS to qualify.
The ideal candidate will show a hunger for knowledge, a desire to teach others, and remain cool under pressure, all while being able to take direction from leadership.
Job Type: Full-time Mon-Fri 8 AM-5 PM are our normal business hours, actual work hours could vary outside of that from 5 AM to 7 PM, depending on the location of the job and the customer requirements (we cover the entire state of KS with companies that operate multiple shifts). We do have after-hours service that rarely gets used, so an occasional weekend could be possible, but very rare.
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour (ideally, I'd like to find a person who is worth closer to the $40-$50 range)

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week with opportunity for overtime
