Description
The Housekeeping Department has several student position openings for summer, full-time employment.
Responsibilities- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a current/recently graduated Newman University student.
- Applicants must be flexible and reliable.
- Must have a basic understanding of cleaning techniques.
- Must be able to perform assigned duties in a reasonable amount of time and with an acceptable degree of quality.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Showing initiative is a plus.
- Must be able to operate basic household cleaning equipment.
- Must demonstrate ability to paint standard size walls.
- Walking, bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, lifting, kneeling is required.
- Must be able to stand for 2-to-3-hour intervals.
- Must be able to lift 30 – 35 pounds three/four times per hour.
Beginning and ending dates: May through August
Number of positions available: 10
Number of hours per week: 40 required
Days and times: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm (may vary), some weekends.
Position pays $10 per hour.
