Primary liaison between facility maintenance team and facility supervisor for communicating work that needs to be scheduled, manpower issues and other challenges that facility may have to meet.

• Observes all Safety policies and procedures as outlined within Newell Brands’ Safety Excellence and Leadership (SEAL) program.
• Drive success through the Company’s Planning, Engagement, Awareness and Knowledge (PEAK) continuous improvement program.
• Personally responsible for upholding the Newell Brands Values and the Code of Conduct.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation for compliance with Newell Brands’ Housekeeping standards.
• Receive work orders from supervisor and communicate orders to the team.
• Schedule the manpower and equipment to complete orders.
• Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Must maintain high standards of quality in work team performance.
• Report on team member performance issues such as non‑observance of standard procedures or lack of productivity to the supervisor.
• Assign facility team to Preventative Maintenance work orders and ensure work is done in a timely manner.
• Responsible for team completing all demand maintenance work orders.
• Coordinate requisition of parts and supplies.
• Responsible for documentation of work orders, filing, tracking costs of demand and preventative maintenance projects.
• Will also perform work orders.
• Does include some work outdoors throughout the year.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Prefer leadership experience in facility environment.
• Demonstrated trouble‑shooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills, prefer previous Preventative Maintenance System experience.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
• Knowledge of water towers, compressors and boilers preferred is a plus.
• Sound driving record to drive company vehicles, and ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Must be able to give instructions in a positive and constructive way.
• Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, and be flexible with working different shifts as needed.

There are no direct supervisor responsibilities. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems. All supervisor related issues will be directed to the supervisor.

Education and/or

Experience:
