The Building Maintenance will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of building systems, structures, and equipment. This includes conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting, and responding to maintenance requests to ensure that all operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment and machinery. Ensure all equipment is running at optimal levels to support the logistics operations. - Facility Inspections & Safety:
Conduct regular inspections of the building and surrounding areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance issues. Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and building codes. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, work spaces, and storage facilities. - Equipment & Machinery Support:
Repair and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks as needed. Assist with setup, testing, and installation of new equipment or machinery. - Emergency Response:
Respond to emergency maintenance requests (e.g., water leaks, electrical issues, HVAC failures) promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
