Job Description

Job Summary:

Maintain buildings/facilities and parking areas. May be expected to troubleshoot and perform a variety of complicated tasks with little or no supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; familiar with a wide variety of maintenance practices and procedures. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships.

Essential Functions:

All expectations described in the job description's essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Facility Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform general and preventive maintenance at bank facilities (downtown, branches, parking garages).

• Complete repairs across multiple trades, including:

o Carpentry, plumbing, roofing, and painting.

o Lighting (bulbs and ballasts).

o Ceiling tiles, doors, locks, and furniture.

• Diagnose issues and determine appropriate tools, materials, and repair methods.

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including:

o Motors, belts, blowers, and condensers.

o Filter changes and equipment cleaning.

Systems, Inspections & Work Orders

• Complete daily service requests and log work in maintenance system.

• Perform weekly inspections and report findings.

• Monitor building systems, including HVAC and energy management systems.

• Support maintenance of:

o Rooftop units (RTUs).

o Cooling towers, boilers, and chillers.

• Assist with inventory tracking (tools, parts, equipment).

Vendor & Project Coordination

• Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors, including:

o Scheduling and access.

o Insurance verification.

o Worksite setup and cleanup.

• Partner with internal teams (Retail, Marketing, IT, etc.) on projects.

Custodial & Operational Support

• Perform custodial tasks as needed.

• Maintain clean and safe work areas.

• Set up meeting rooms when needed.

• Maintain company vehicles (cleaning, fueling, servicing).

Additional Responsibilities

• Support emergency response and disaster recovery efforts.

• Maintain bank-owned properties.

• Perform seasonal duties (e.g., snow removal, fountain maintenance).

• Assist with parking garage operations when needed.

• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent and/or 5 years of experience in related field required.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
Building maintenance/engineering background with a high level of proficiency in multiple trades. Applicant must have an extensive knowledge of electrical lighting and wiring, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC. High school diploma with ability to read and follow verbal instructions; produce written documents using proper construction, punctuation and grammar; run cash register and make change, proficient in Microsoft applications i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, task and meeting scheduling, enter and retrieve information from Excel spreadsheets, energy management system, and computerized maintenance management system.

Required Licenses and/or

Certifications:

EPA Universal refrigerant certificate desirable.

Physical Demands:
Extended period(s) of time may be spent sitting, standing, walking, climbing of stairs and/or ladders, stooping, crouching, crawling, and kneeling. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions:

Incumbent will have frequent interaction with other personnel, managers, customers, vendors and contractors and is on-call occasionally.…
