Maintenance Technician

Leading Technology Composites, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to support a high precision composite manufacturing facility in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, presses, ovens, CNC machines, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues, performing routine inspections, documenting work orders, and supporting continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime while upholding LTC's safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
• Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities in work order systems
• Support equipment setup, calibration, and minor modifications for production needs
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
• Follow and promote safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping standards
• Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement of equipment reliability
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and organize maintenance workspace
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed
