In this role, you will collaborate alongside experienced Flight Mechanics to ensure multi-engine aircraft are flight-ready for testing and customer delivery. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining mechanical excellence and safety standards.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Mechanical Installation :
Install line shortage items, disassemble and reassemble components, and prepare aircraft for flight tests and delivery - System Checks & Adjustments :
Perform functional checks, corrections, and adjustments on multi-engine systems to ensure optimal performance - Flight Test Support :
Assist in correcting flight test and inspection squawks to meet quality standards - Sheet Metal Rework :
Conduct minor sheet metal rework as needed to maintain aircraft reliability - Tool Utilization :
Use mechanic hand tools and devices like scales, inclinometers, tensiometers, and pressure gauges to perform precise measurements and adjustments - Blueprint & Specification Adherence :
Follow blueprints, routers, specifications, and checklists to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
- A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level Work Keys certification is required
- At least 3-6 months of diversified experience with jet, turboprop or piston aircraft , including phase inspections, engine troubleshooting, or servicing is required
- Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and components is helpful
- An A&P license is helpful
