Kitchen Utility Attendant​/Dishwasher - Williamsburg Lodge

Upon hiring, you will enter a probationary period of up to 40 hours per week. Upon completion, you may become benefit eligible.

• Must be available to work all schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Follow a strict sanitation policy.
• Prior experience performing heavy cleaning, preferably in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must maintain expectations listed below.
• Successful candidates must obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County Food Handlers Card and present it during the interview process.
• Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Ability to lift, handle and transport up to 100 pounds as necessary.
  • Carrying heavy objects up and down stairs.
  • Bending, stooping, lifting.
  • Working while standing for long periods of time.
  • Working at a fast pace for several hours at a time.
  • Working at heights over 6 feet.

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license and have an acceptable driving record as measured against Colonial Williamsburg's criteria.

This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). It may be subject to overtime during high peak times as directed and approved by the supervisor.
