Position Description

We are seeking experienced and non-experienced laborers who will be responsible for assisting in various tasks required at job sites. Applicants must be dependable, honest, hardworking, have an excellent work ethic and a desire to learn/grow. Must also pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Attendance during regularly scheduled workdays
• Assist in site and equipment clean-up and site organization
• Hand grading as required
• Operate equipment as directed after being trained on it
• Install and maintain various erosion and sediment controls
• Lifts and transports heavy objects
• Use various hand and power tools as directed after being trained on them
• Knowledgeable in basic construction related math and measuring
• Operation of rollers, off road trucks, sweepers after being trained on them
• Operation of site laser for verifying grades after being trained on them
• Ability to complete computer-based training (CBT) modules as part of ongoing job requirements
• Other duties as required and directed.

• Dependable daily transportation to job sites within a 50-mile radius of Williamsburg, VA
• Knowledge of basic safety requirements
• Able to work with others
• Knowledgeable in basic construction related math and measuring
• Knowledge in basic hand and power tool use
• Operation of rollers, off road trucks, sweepers
• Must be dependable
• Regularly required to stand, sit, and walk
• Regularly required to use arms, hands and fingers, to reach, handle and/or feel
• Regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs
• Ability to sit or stand in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day, including while using a computer or performing administrative or training-related tasks
• Must be physically flexible
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include peripheral vision and depth perception
• Regularly required to work under stressful conditions, all types of outdoor weather, and varying terrain
• Applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clean driving record.
