Job Description Details Role and Responsibilities
- The first responsibility is to warmly welcome customers to BDS and model our professional, service-oriented business culture while providing them with the highest quality of service, and product knowledge that is possible.
- Service Techs are required to master basic and advanced skills in processes, technique, assemblies, install, and technical evaluation procedures pertaining but not limited to pressure control valves, drilling systems, flow back equipment, and other oil and gas-related items.
- Service Techs are required to inspect, assemble, test, repair, and install various surface components (Frac, Production, and Drilling Equipment) to specific verbal and written guidelines in the field environment.
- Inspect and identify and correct flawed wellheads, drilling systems, pressure control valves, and other oil and gas-related equipment in a timely manner while ensuring the customer’s specifications as well as the standard company and industry standards are met without exceptions.
- Documentation:
Accurately and honestly complete and submit paperwork associated with job task daily duties; (JSA, Safety Docs, FST, FNCR, REQ, testing documentation, timecards, etc.) in the set amount of time. Report any non-compliance of procedural action immediately to Supervisor or HR. Labeling or stamping equipment in the proper manner. - Maintenance:
Inventory, maintain, and log all assets, both inventory and company-owned, i.e.: service tooling, vehicles, and related items. - Communication:
Ability to communicate with team members, customers, vendors, as well as the community in both written and verbal documentation. Assist other team members in daily activities and job-related tasks approved by the Quality & Production Team. - Safety:
Perform job duties in the safest way possible with a 100% accident-free, 100% incident-free target goal while abiding by QMS, HSE, and EHB. - Representative:
Act professionally, uphold, and solidify representation and respect of the motto, "Restoring Principles & Integrity One Connection at a Time", at all times. - Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and lifting, spends 95% of time in field & shop, 2% in vehicle, 3% office. - Other Required Responsibilities:
Valid driving record, no OWI/IWO/DWI, lift equipment to max 30 lbs, review staged jobs before loading, operate forklift (only if current training certification), overhead crane operation, operate testing equipment, rigging, with current training and Bulldog Services Safety Manual. - Other:
Clothing items promoting non-business-related propaganda not allowed. Use PPE as required by BDS in compliance with OSHA. Maintain safe work environment following posted/non-posted guidelines. Guidelines in BDS safety manual. - Hours of Operation:
Monday through Sunday, 24/7 on-call, 24-hour on-call tower position. Complete any pertinent duties by end of job if possible. - At any time, employer has ability to add or remove job duties.
