Maintenance Director

Garden Spring Rehab and Care Center - Accela Healthcare at Garden Spring Rehab & Care Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Director to oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and ensure a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

• Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department.
• Manage and supervise maintenance staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and life safety systems.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and address maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, OSHA, and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate facility repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, supplies, and service contracts.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, work orders, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with department leaders to support resident care and operational excellence.
• Participate in state surveys and ensure facility readiness for inspections.

• Previous maintenance leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, healthcare setting, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and life safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CMS, and state healthcare regulations is preferred.
