District 39 is seeking teachers who are child-centered professionals with a high degree of energy, flexibility, and initiative, as well as well-developed interpersonal skills. Expectations are that teachers will practice reflective teaching strategies and seek continuous self-improvement.
QualificationsValid IL educator licensure with proper endorsement(s).
Working Conditions$61,877.70 minimum annually with benefits. Actual compensation based on education and experience.
Salary and Benefit InformationOur beginning salaries for this school year can be found here. Benefits for this position include access to health, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance. Some tuition reimbursement is available for graduate-level courses in the field of education. Tier 2 TRS employees may be eligible for additional retirement savings benefits. All applicable benefits can be found in the current WEA contractual bargaining agreement.
