Second-Grade Teacher

District 39 is seeking a second-grade teacher for a one-year fixed-term position, filling in for an extended leave of absence. District 39 is seeking teachers who are child-centered professionals with a high degree of energy, flexibility, and initiative, as well as well-developed interpersonal skills. Expectations are that teachers will practice reflective teaching strategies and seek continuous self-improvement.

Qualifications:

Valid IL educator licensure with proper endorsement(s).

Working conditions:

$61,877.70 minimum annually with benefits. Actual compensation based on education and experience. Benefits for this position include access to health insurance, dental insurance, long-term disability insurance, and life insurance. Some tuition reimbursement is available for graduate-level courses in the field of education. Tier 2 TRS employees may be eligible for additional retirement savings benefits. All applicable benefits can be found in the current WEA contractual bargaining agreement.
