Description:
A long-term substitute is needed for the 1st-grade teacher position at McKenzie Elementary School to cover a long-term leave.
Approximate Dates:08/17/2026-09/18/2026
Long-term substitutes are required to attend the paid New Teacher Orientation Aug. 11-13.
Salary & Benefits:- The daily rate of pay is $150/day.
- Substitutes working 20 consecutive days in the role of a teacher/licensed position are considered long-term.
- The daily rate of pay for long-term substitutes is $250/day.
- Long-term substitutes have access to health insurance per the terms of the current WEA contractual bargaining agreement.
Valid IL Educator Licensure with proper endorsement.
