Role Overview

As a Tax Advisor at Block Advisors, you will inspire clients to make confident, informed decisions about their finances. You will build and grow long‑term client relationships year‑round.

• Build year‑round client relationships
• Prepare tax returns, provide audit support and tax planning services
• Conduct face‑to‑face and virtual tax interviews via video, phone, chat, or e‑mail
• Generate business growth, increase retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide IRS support
  • All certification levels can provide tax notice services
  • Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Grow your tax expertise

• 5+ years of tax experience
• Experience completing individual tax returns
• Tax planning and audit support experience
• Effective communication in person and virtually
• Comfortable with virtual tools (video conferencing, chat)
• Experience in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Must complete continuing education and meet all IRS and state requirements

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing business tax returns
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

$11.00 - $80.00 per hour, subject to local minimum wage and applicable incentive plans.
