The General Manager is the senior site leader responsible for thorough knowledge of all processes and procedures pertaining to facility maintenance and operations, front-desk customer service, lesson quality, staff training and performance. This role ensures every function of the Big Blue facility is operating in a superior, professional, and fun manner. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player, have great communication skills, and be driven to succeed within the company.

Salary Range: $60, The listed salary range represents the anticipated compensation for this role. Final offers will depend on a candidate’s experience and how closely their background aligns with the position requirements. Most new hires typically begin near the lower end of the range.

• Manage the facility’s training, scheduling, hiring, and performance assessment, including ensuring the facility is properly staffed at all times.
• Problem solve facility issues and customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Create a positive and fun learning environment for all students.
• Engage in continuous training opportunities for all staff.
• Oversee facility budgets, meet financial targets and implement revenue-generating initiatives.
• Maintain proper pool chemicals and pump room operations.
• Ensure safety of patrons and staff in the facility at all times.

• 5+ years management experience leading large teams (30+ employees).
• Ability to provide high level service and create a strong sense of community for customer base.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be available on weekends and evenings/nights.
