Hourly Pay Range

$48.93 - $75.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Qualifications
  • License:
    Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree in Nursing, Business or a Healthcare related discipline preferred.
  • Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3 years experience in relevant clinical setting required. Previous management experience preferred with demonstrated progressive clinical leadership.
  • Skills:

    Acute care inpatient Cardiac/Stroke experience preferred. Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for the professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies.
  • Create a departmental environment that is therapeutic which promotes engagement with our nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Establishes constructive partnerships with peers to promote loyalty for patients, families, nursing, physicians, and employees.
  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
  • Leads unit and department quality initiatives using research and evidence-based practice.
  • Promotes the development of critical thinking skills of all unit personnel through appreciate inquiry.
  • Creates and maintains a supportive, resilient, and healthy work environment.
  • Advances practice through the development of innovations and change principles.
