Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Job Description

Work under the direction of store ownership, as a key member of the overall company management team, to oversee the day to day operation and revenue generation for the location; including keeping the store on path to set and meet sales goals, maintaining standards related to merchandising and overall store appearance, managing and developing sales team, and addressing operational issues both proactively and in real time.

• Drive and monitor store’s progress to set revenue goals.
• Develop daily, weekly and monthly strategies to keep store on plan.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to Store Associates working in the location – serving as an exemplar of store selling culture.
• Maintain key client sales relationships and contribute to weekly revenue through direct selling both remotely and on the floor.
• Monitor, mentor, and coach all sales associates on meeting personal sales and developmental goals through regular one-on-ones, informal check-ins and working with the team side-by-side.
• Create the monthly schedule and revenue goals for store alongside Gold Coast Store Manager.
• Handle escalated customer service and employee issues.
• Implement regular meetings with store ownership and other members of company leadership team to discuss store progress towards monthly goals and strategies for future growth.
• Work with the Marketing, Social Media and Events team to develop and drive marketing efforts, including the coordination of special and private events, social media posts and development of sales tools. Work with sales associate team to do same.
• Emulate the SPACE 519 brand aesthetic and embody a strong sense of fashion every day by wearing store provided wardrobe and following personal appearance guidelines set forth in Employee Manual. Coach team to do the same every day.
• Assure the store always looks it’s very best in terms of visual merchandising/neatness/straightening and by assuring maintenance issues are addressed, supplies are stocked, and the owner’s creative vision is represented.
• Actively engage in all store happenings and stay up to date on all current trends in the fashion industry.
