The Store Manager is primarily responsible for achieving the Budgeted Net Sales and Operating Profit for their store. Responsibilities include high personal selling skills, ensuring client experience, staffing and operations, and leading with company Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.

• Achieve or exceed direct contribution and budgeted net sales.
• Identify opportunities and develop solutions to increase traffic, improve client experience, and support sales and operations.
• Create strategies that support an exceptional client experience and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual results while maximizing productivity.
• Plan and execute local events that tie to the community and fuel traffic and sales.
• Establish a high‑performance selling environment that emulates the Lilly Pulitzer culture.
• Create meaningful, lasting relationships with clients, building trust through product knowledge and community events.
• Resolve client issues promptly.
• Oversee financial management including payroll and expense budgets.
• Enhance store culture by engaging and inspiring others through Core Values.
• Delegate divisions of responsibility (DOR) to achieve goals.
• Foster and encourage team building and skill development within those DORs.
• Build leadership teams, collaborate, and coach associates.
• Motivate staff by promoting a team atmosphere.
• Provide clear, concise, actionable feedback to the management team.
• Recruit, hire, train, discipline, and evaluate performance.
• Ensure compliance and resolve personnel issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and maintain store inventory.
• Maintain visual and operational standards set by Visual and Retail Operations teams.

• A four‑year college degree is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of management experience, preferably in the fashion or luxury retail industry.
• Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of ownership and responsibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Apple technology.
• Prior knowledge of XStore & Tulip is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet and maneuver around the store during shift hours.

• Full‑time salaried; exempt and not eligible for overtime.
• 40‑hour work week with flexible hours that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
